Meet Mr. Hansraj the son of a village farmer and the yougest in a family of six members. After his father’s death he had to shoulder the responsibility of his family.Being visually impaired from birth and from the weaker strata of the society did not help his cause . His numerous effort to get a job for years did not fetch rewards as his computer application skills were limited..He joined NABET with a hope to become an earning member of his family and to lead a life of dignity and self worth. As he had no computer skills he had to be trained right from the preliminary stage. Nabet took him under their aegis and from keyboard introduction to windows application usage to Internet Explorer usage the trainees did it all for him. The consistent effort from the NABET trainers and his zeal to suceed paid off. He now is an earning member of his family and has now become an asset to his family. The transformation came in a span of 06 months and he is a proud bread winner of his family. Such has been the transformation in hansraj’s life that his family is now considering settling him and seeking a beautiful bride for their beloved son.

Mr. Surender Gupta

Surender comes from Jharkhand, district Dhanbad and is the only visually impaired person in his family. A very ambitious young man who had high dreams of making it big in his life was found wandering on the streets of Delhi by the staff of Nabet. We got surender into our NGO and gave him accomodation and fooding and in the meantime we began searching for a decent job opportunity in Gurgaon. He became very close to our other trainees and introduced them to the concept of Skype and AIM instant messenger. After 04 months of job hunting for surender, Nabet found him a decent job opening in a MNC in Noida and he now works there. We are in regular touch with him and now we hear he is thinking of settling and start a familyof his own.

Mr. Sonu Singh

Sonu comes from a family of farmers. He is a native of Farukkhabad district of Gurgaon. His father always dreamt of his son becoming computer literate and a earning member of his family. There was initially high reluctance from his uncles an relatives to join a NGO where they teach computer applications and other skills as they wanted him to find his living on the fields. However our counselling to his family members and the future prospect that it holds for Sonu got his relative to believe in Nabet’s training curriculum. Sonu is now an expert in all types of computer application and is now a big fan of online shopping. He shops on sites such as Jabong.com to buy gifts and merchandise for his relatives and friends.

EACH ONE OF US HAS A STORY

Each Trainee at Nabet has a story    of his/ her own.  Story of  hardship, fierce determination and a rewarding future. We change lives. Our students come from poor family background and have faced extreme form of hardship.
The only thing that sets our trainees apart from the rest is that they believed in our training programme and took charge of their lives. They were ready to accept that the future lies in the IT/ ITES industry and were ready to subject themselves to the grueling curriculum. The result has been satisfying for all.
