Arjun Mishra of Nabet India and an Indian Institute of Foreign Trade MBA student from Gurgaon has been named winner of the prestigious Queen”s Young Leaders 2017 award. Each year Her Majesty Queen of the United Kingdom selects a cohort of social entrepreneurs and for this year from india, Arjun has been selected as the Queen Young Leader India.
This young entrepreneur has done amazing innovative work in the IT field where blind /visually impaired work at par with others.This unique skill development initiative has led to employment of large number of such people who otherwise lived a life of dependence.This Pan- India program was possible by developing special softwares and training capsules, designed to keep their handicap and industry requirements in mind. Addressing the concerns of the handicapped and skilled manpower issues that plagues the Industry, his innovative ideas is a win- win solution for both
Through this initiative he has been able to find employment for over 750 such people and bring smiles in their lives .These numbers continue to grow manifolds.
This amazing work has won him Runners Up award from over 3000 applicants in 50 commonwealth countries.He has also been offered entrepreneur development course designed by The University of Cambridge.
through this award and recognition Arjun, wishes to develop the skills of more such vision impaired students across India and help them lead a life of dignity free from charity and dependence. His mission is to skill and train and provide employment to more beneficiaries.
